Square Enix ha aggiornato il sito ufficiale di SaGa: Scarlet Grace diffondendo alcune informazioni per questa esclusiva di PlayStation Vita. Durante lo svolgimento del Tokyo Game Show 2016 è stato anche annunciato che SaGa: Scarlet Grace sarà disponibile in Giappone dal prossimo 15 dicembre.

■ Characters
Urpina
A young woman of the Uranius family, famed as the head of the four families set to accede to the Shogunate.
The Uranius family is based in the state of Ronikumu’s Silmium, and head of family Maximus is aiming to restore the empire. Urpina was raised properly and is called “princess” by those around her. She has an open and cheerful personality towards all people. Because of her real mother’s early passing, she relies on her father and brother, Antonius. Although her behavior is a bit spontaneous, as a member of the Uranius family she is resolved to improving her sword-fighting skills and carrying out her duties as an imperial noble.
Although she admires her brother’s fiancee, Erised of the Guvines family, she has an uncontrollable desire to carry the Uranius family on her back. But Urpina’s life, which is filled with dreams and hopes, takes a complete turn when a tragic attack strikes Silmium…
Leonard
Separated a far way away from the heart of the empire, Leonard is a farmer from the remote region of Yaksalt.
A bad boy who prefers to act before talking, he and his troublemaker friend have caused mischief in the past. He was a dangerous boy who avoided even adults, but a few years back suddenly returned to work on his grandfather’s farm.
He has recently started saying, “I must not become an irresponsible adult.”
His grandfather died, so from this year onward he must farm by himself.
After he helped a dying woman who collapsed on the farm, his fate significantly changes. In a delirium, she kept muttering “Go to Ai-Khanoum.” It is the name of a legendary capital in a fairy tale. Upon hearing that, he sold his grandfather’s farm and went in search of the legendary capital Ai-Khanoum in her place. His friends would not let him go alone with such an honest resolve.
Taria
A potter who lived an agitated life. Now in a studio near the Termina Sea, she is focused on a calm life of pottery making.
However, distortions in the world are also creating distortions in her work. She could accept these distortions and continue to make pottery, allowing her to know if something happens in the world.
However, she can not continue her work without facing these distortions. In order to find out the cause and identity of these distortions, Taria sets out on a journey.
Balmaint
A legal executioner from the Cohan Castle in the land of Kei. He succeeds his family predecessors as an executioner.
Cohan Castle administrator Sigfrey started a rule-by-fear regime, executing many soldiers, politicians, and even normal citizens. The one who carried out those executions was Balmaint.
Sigfrey himself was also seized by political opponents and taken to Balmaint to be executed.
Sigfrey left with the parting words, “I will be resurrected seven times and show you the justice I will bring to this world,” and while still smiling had his head removed. Before long, rumor of Sigfrey’s reappearance reached from everywhere to every man.
The wandering Balmaint goes on a journey in search of Sigfrey. In order to remove his head seven times.

Battle
Introducing the “Timeline,” where you can see enemies’ behaviors as well as chose your allies’ actions. This high-strategy battle system is characteristic of the SaGa series. Many new sparks, battle formations, familiar weapons, and techniques will be introduced!
Growth
Characters will develop at the end of battles. This game also introduces a new system where characters are given bonus effects. The individual personalities of each character will become stronger.
■ World
An existence that gave not knowledge, but wisdom, and not civilization, but culture to human beings. As a result of being a constellation occupying a place in the sky, they are called the star gods.
12 star gods surround the center of the sky.
The star gods support culture and govern technology. Agriculture, stock-farming, seamanship, martial arts, black magic… People offer prayers to the star gods in line with their own pursuits.

In this land, rather than the sun, moon, or the planets, stars are the celestial bodies that govern the world.
